{"id":105,"date":"2026-04-06T16:02:24","date_gmt":"2026-04-06T16:02:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pricelessprecisionco.com\/?p=105"},"modified":"2026-04-06T16:04:20","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T16:04:20","slug":"glock-45-review-after-1-month-what-i-like-dont-like-my-setup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pricelessprecisionco.com\/?p=105","title":{"rendered":"Glock 45 Review After 1 Month (What I Like, Don\u2019t Like &amp; My Setup)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After spending about a month with the Glock 45, I wanted to put together an honest update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When I first got into firearms, I talked about why I chose it \u2014 but now that I\u2019ve had time to actually use it, practice with it, and make a few upgrades, I have a much better perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn\u2019t a technical review \u2014 it\u2019s a beginner\u2019s experience after 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">First Impressions vs Now<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When I first picked up the Glock 45, what stood out most was how it felt in my hand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now, after actually using it more, I can say that first impression held up \u2014 but I\u2019ve also learned a lot more about what actually matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some things became more important over time, and a few things I didn\u2019t think about at first started to stand out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What I Like<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are a few things that really stood out after using it consistently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reliability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s simple \u2014 it just works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s probably the most important thing when it comes to something you\u2019re relying on for home defense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Grip &amp; Comfort<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The full-size grip makes a big difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It feels stable, comfortable, and easier to control \u2014 especially as a beginner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ease of Shooting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The 9mm recoil is manageable, and overall it\u2019s been easy to get comfortable with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That makes practicing a lot less intimidating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What I Don\u2019t Like<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>No setup is perfect, and there are a couple things I\u2019ve noticed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Size<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The larger grip is great for control, but it\u2019s definitely not the most compact option.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Learning Curve (Red Dot)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After adding a red dot, there was definitely an adjustment period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finding the dot quickly took some practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Current Setup (After 1 Month)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After getting more comfortable, I made a few upgrades \u2014 but I\u2019ve kept everything simple and practical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My setup now includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Glock 45<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Red dot optic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Weapon-mounted light<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stick-on grip<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Beaver tail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upgraded trigger<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udd34 Red Dot \u2014 What Changed for Me<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>After getting comfortable with the basics, I decided to add a red dot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At first, it took some getting used to.
